BDP Shooting Event@Yishun Safra Club on 18 Aug 2007

Bang! Bang! BDP Shooting Event finally kicked off last Saturday on 18 Aug 2007 at Yishun Safra Club. Turnout was very heartening with 85% participation rate from BDP Staff. The good turnout was attributed to the fact that most of them had never got a chance to shoot with a air rifle. It is their first experience in their life and is very enriching for them.

A total of 12 teams competed for the shooting event. Each team comprised staff from different departments. The champion that emerged from the event is Team 8. It is hope that such event, staff will deepen their sense of belongings to BDP, and able to foster close communication and bonds with colleagues from other departments as one family.

Barbecue @ HDB Heartland (Joey's Residence)

CLSC Team 2 decided to host a barbecue on 8 Aug 07 at HDB Heartland at Telok Blangah (Joey's residence)instead of the usual popular spot at East Coast, Pasir Ris or Changin beach. The place was a quiet and secluded spot and ideal for a pre-holiday or holiday rendevous. It is time to gather for a break and to catch up with one another after hard day works. We also had surprised guests who were very nice to pop in to join in the fun.

BDP Fruit Day (Jul 07)

Hurray, it's BDP Fruit Day again. Stop munching away your tibits stored in your cabinets.

Eat more fruits and stay healthy. It is hoped that the event will provide an opportunity for BDP staff to interact and share with one another the health benefits of consuming various types of fruits and the pitfalls of certain fruits if consumed excessively. Eg. Too much mango and rambutan will cause constipation etcs. Look at the gleeful and satisfied look of some colleagues captured in the photos below.
