BDP Customer Service Day 2007

BDP Singapore celebrated BDP Customer Service Day on 5 Sep 2007. A Customer Service Award Ceremony was held to give recognition to a cream of staff that did BDP proud with their excellent customer services. They were recognised for their dedication, committment and the extra mile they took to assist BDP customers in resolving their logistics problems with minimum or no hassle caused to them. They were BDP Champions whom customers heap praises and compliments and gives a thumbs up for their excellent customer services.

Other than the Best Customer Service Awards, two awards namely "MR and Miss Best Attitude" Awards, were also given out to two outstanding staff that won the highest votes from their colleagues.

Mid Autumn Moon Cake Festival Celebration -Sep 07

Chomp ! Chomp! Again. BDP celebrated the Chinese Mid Autumn Mooncake Festival on 25 Sep 07 for the first time ,and in the "Ang Moh" way. There is no praying, no moon watching, no lantern carrying. It is merely a get together session for all to sample and taste the variety of mooncakes that were given to us by carriers and BDP vendors. BDP staff also get a chance to taste the traditional piglets, tao sha pia, pamelo etcs that were our forefather's favorite.

Fish Philosophy, Exployer of Choice, Customer Service & Pot Luck Day

Last Friday, 31 Aug 07, was an auspicious day for BDP Singapore. It is a day where various sub-committees provides an update of the activities they have undertaken for the last 1 year and the upcoming events which they have planned for the company. The committees are as follows:-

7.RECREATION

The committee mobilises the every staff to participate in planning and execution of activities that promotes cohesiveness, team work, operation excellence, excellent customer service, and more importantly ,the unique BDP Experience which everyone embraces. To cap it all, a potluck buffet was organised with many BDP staff contributing their local specialty food prepared by themselves or parents.

BDP Shooting Event@Yishun Safra Club on 18 Aug 2007

Bang! Bang! BDP Shooting Event finally kicked off last Saturday on 18 Aug 2007 at Yishun Safra Club. Turnout was very heartening with 85% participation rate from BDP Staff. The good turnout was attributed to the fact that most of them had never got a chance to shoot with a air rifle. It is their first experience in their life and is very enriching for them.

A total of 12 teams competed for the shooting event. Each team comprised staff from different departments. The champion that emerged from the event is Team 8. It is hope that such event, staff will deepen their sense of belongings to BDP, and able to foster close communication and bonds with colleagues from other departments as one family.
